My practice uses lifestyle medicine (focusing on diet, sleep, movement, social relationships and stress management) alongside prescribed hormone therapies and traditional herbal medicines to help patients regain their vitality and prevent ongoing hormone-related and pelvic problems.  

 

My approach also pays attention to issues of mental/emotional support or 'slow medicine'; that are often missed in conventional settings. 

Good health is about whether you feel good and comfortable in your own body, and is sustainable over the long term.

Spring 2026 clinic updates:

  • Office hours are changing slightly: as of April 15th, I am at my office at Opal Wellness Pharmacy in Ottawa  Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 1:00pm-6:00pm and Friday 10:00am-3:00pm. Both in person and virtual appointments are available as before

  • On Wednesday afternoons, I am also welcoming virtual patients of Connected Health and Skin in Toronto. Their online booking site is here

  • Jane app has a secure patient communication messaging system when you set up your patient portal-I'm happy to enable this PHIPA compliant feature for active patients--feel free to email me and I will open the channel for you. 

  • We are moving to a new Smart lab requisition form and discontinuing paper forms for all lab testing by May 1st. 

  • Visit fees are be slightly increasing in May 2026 to cover increased clinical and operational costs (details are on the Services page), and so we can continue to offer high-quality, personalized care. Direct billing will still be available, as will sliding scale fees for patients who have qualified - ask for details.
